FYI

Just so everyone knows...Addy is cutting her 7th tooth! Her gums are also swollen around the molar area and I am hoping they all will pop at once like weeds. I am ready for this teething thing to be over!! She, however, is completely unphased by it. By the time her birthday rolls around, she will have enough teeth to eat her cake and then some. She won't have anything on me when she turns the big 1...I had 12 teeth at my first birthday!! :)

Going to Caden's house

Adam and I and some other friends of ours, Ashley and Garrett, decided to go and visit our friends, Kyle and Courtney, in south Georgia. They had moved there this past summer and we all decided to make a trip out of it. Kyle and Courtney have a little boy named Caden and he is a doll! Caden is exactly one month younger than Addyson and we all were excited to see them.

Addy was always in the bathroom when Caden took a bath and always played Peek-a-Boo with the shower curtain.

Unfortunately, the ride home wasn't quite as fun considering Addy got sick. But all in all, we were glad to spend time with our friends! We miss them already!!

Addy's First Christmas

This was Addyson's first Christmas and to be honest, she wasn't too excited. When she got a gift, she just looked at it and then move on. Christmas came and went pretty fast and I am sure that Addy was not phased at all. However, Adam and I were completely worn out. Our Christmas went as follows: Christmas Eve we first went to my grandparent's, which is a family tradition; then off to my mom and dad's (since most of the time my dad has to work Christmas Day), then Christmas Day is spent with Adam's family. Needless to say, we all slept great that week!

Addyson was a little confused when it came to opening gifts. She didn't understand the concept. I would start off by ripping some wrapping paper and then hoping she would finish it. That wasn't the case. She just kinda stared at it until I would unwrap it and then she would want the toy to be opened immediately.
